I am tossing the idea around of turning my car from manual to auto. So I am putting some feelers out. I am looking to trade my current set up for auto if I do it. I have Hayes flywheel, ram powergrip HD clutch,Lakewood Blowproof bellhousing,Tremec TKO600 (few miles and few passes on it),Spohn crossmemeber with driveshaft loop,Rebalanced and spicer parts on driveshaft. Let me know.

I don't know what it entails to swap from manual to auto in a 3rd gen but my good friend is selling his TH400 for cheap.

If you are considering a th400 I had mine built to handle 700hp+ and I was considering going back to a manual in my Vette. It has 3 passes on it before I parked the car a couple years ago and started the swap from alcohol back to gas. Don't think I have my transblanket anymore but it would have expired anyhow Still in car so everything else is there let me know if you have any interest.

I am looking for a complete swap, the switch over shouldn't be hard. Nhra bill- do you just have a trans or everything to swap into a third gen

No, my car is a 75 Corvette with a 6-71 blower on a sbc 350. I have trans convertor flexplate and B&M prostick shifter w/ cable all you would need:

th400 kick down cable and a crossmember to fit several companies make crossmembers that have a mount for your stock torque arm.

Pickup a driveshaft proper length.

I swapped a th350 into my 87 bird 20 years ago when I was a kid and I knew nothing with all the support from internet now and tons of aftermarket companies it should be easy.
