Buddy looking for Apartment in North Jersey

A good friend of mine is starting school in a month and needs an apartment in North Jersey. Clifton area would be ideal, but Newark or north of Newark is a necessary criteria. Let me know if you know of anything or see anything that might help.

Its a downstairs 1br unit in a two family house.
Complete renovation in late 90s. Small updates since.
Hardwood floors, high ceilings, Currently vacant. Could be available Sept 1st.
