It's a balmy 55 degrees in my house now, loving every minute of it.

I think my wife would divorce me if I tried that. 68 is the lowest I can set the thermostat before I start getting dirty looks.

Honestly, at 52°, you're a savage lol
67° is perfect. Barefoot on tile at 52°? Goosebumps just thinking about it!
Girlfriend freezes at anything below 73. It's a regular tiff year round.

When I was down in Forked River the other weekend I didn't bother to raise the heat (Set it at 50 year round) or turn on the hot water. After a day of riding in 20 mph winds and 57 degree water, I took a nice cold shower and woke up the next morning to a 52 degree house in shorts and a t-shirt. Love it

Yeah, it's a little rough walking in the kitchen on the tile to feed the dog in the morning.
No where near cold enough to plug a truck in.
60 degrees in the house is my breaking point at this time of the year.

Sure it is, come out, start her up and bam, nice heat for my drive to work.
Therefore, cold enough to plug in truck.

You need heat for your drive to work? You don't REALLY like the cold then :-P I put the defrost on in the car for ice/condensation only, then heat goes off.

Kohler, you don't even have a commute!
Remote start, defrosters, heat, seats & steering on. Cold leather at 5:30AM is up there with AIDS and Stubbed Toes on The List Of Most Horrible Things In The World.

What do you do, go to work bare-assed? Wear a jacket on the leather.

Yes, my 10 minute commute is much nicer with an engine not sub 90* that rattles like a mofo.
Heat comes on for the defroster but mainly for the quiet engine

So does everyone else. I know right away when they switch - instant 2mpg drop in the Jeep.
