Again, my trans has been acting up and I pulled this converter out to see if it was causing my issues. It wasn't. Big difference between this and stock. I got a billet 9.5" with my new trans so I have no need for it.
It's good to about 500 horse but def geared towards a street car.
LS1 4l60e converter
So, I do not take stuff out of a tranny that has issues and stick them in another trans. There is a chance to cross contaminate. Greg at FTI is going to rebuild this one and it's coming back fresh.
$379 on their site, $279 for one that is sealed in a box and brand new.
If, you want to flush it yourself and take it as is, $175.
Again, this worked like a champ and my unlocking issue was in the trans. I personally would feel better if we let FTI go through it and make sure there is nothing wrong, and it will be clean. But I understand someone trying to save a buck.
