Brian, did you utilize the stock housing and retrofit the lens or go from scratch? Super clean I like it a lot!

TYC back half from factory, aftermarket clear front lens, Morimoto Mini H1 5.0 bi-xenon projectors, custom Iris shrouds with 5000K 35W Morimoto lamps and ballasts.

Looks like the one needs to be clocked. They look great though.

The back half are OEM style aftermarket replacement housings (with the fluted lens). The front lens is from an aftermarket clean lens set. It would have been nice to have used the aftermarket clear lens housings but the back half material is garbage whereas the OEM style replacement were much nice. There were also other dimensional differences in the clear housings which was surprising and would have required a ton of modification to make the projectors fit. The intent of these was a clean look to match the truck. The shroud had to be trimmed to fit but I think it works well.

Passenger def needs more rotation but I'm happy how they turned out. 50% of the time, I get the rotation 100% correct :).
Matt - If you are feeling saucy, all that needs to happen is the big lock nut on the back of the projector needs a slight clockwise rotation (1/8 of a turn?) to make them level. Do not grab the lamp or the lamp holder to do this.
How much to replicate such items. I hope not as hated as tbss

Pricing isn't hard to figure out and doing these again wouldn't be that bad really. I want to get the Silverado versions done and then prob do something official.

If you're looking to do the 07-13 Silverados and need a donor truck, PM me with an idea of what the out of pocket costs would be, I may be interested.

Sounds good. I wont be working my last semester and could part with the truck for a couple of days. Either PM me on here or contact me on FB when you decide if you want to pursue the 07-13 trucks.

No problem. I am going to be buying new housings to do the retro anyway so you won't be without a vehicle. I liked how the GMC trucks used pins to secure the lights.

When you have spent most of your life tinkering with springs and hooks (Firebird), all this non-pop up stuff just seems nice.

I remember my 99 used pins too. Looks like all the 07-13's were bolted in. And sounds good, just let me know once you get around to tackling the project.
