I just booked my flight home in March from the 15-th to April 2 and hopefully weather permitting I'd like to get the Trans Am on the ground and moving under its own steam. I know the motor runs, and it didn't throw any codes which is a good thing, but it only ran for a minute and there is a small list of left over things that need to be done. I was hoping if I got the word out early, I'll be able to get a few hands free to swing by and help!

I have all the fluids I need as well, but In no particular order:
Tighten the master cylinder
Bleed the brakes
Re-Run the wiring harness
Add transmission fluid
Re-connect the steering knuckle
Wire the water pump
Replace radiator hoses & add new clamps
Bolt on hood
Intake assembly
Exhaust (Y-pipe & cat-back)
Strut Tower Brace
Rear lowering springs

I think thats all it needs to get back on the road before I take it in for an alignment. I'd like to at least be able to drive it around the block for the first time in a long time!

Brian, the car is at my parents place in Hawthorne. I'd like to have it running by summer to get it painted.

Well, when you do get it done, you are required to post it

If I am not dealing with finishing up my Bird in March then I would certainly be glad to lend a hand. Keep in touch.

I'd sooner work on someone else's car than my own!

Fighting a hangover and wrestling a rats nest of parts inside the car I wrenched and wrenched at the shifter base to fill the transmission up only to find it was sealed off! Whenever I see this car I get so overwhelmed I feel paralyzed there's so much to do!

T-56? There should be a hole at the bottom of the shifter area. I have always filled them through the shifter area
