Hey guys,
I few years back I shot clays at a spot near Sussex. It was an open field, No fee an you tossed your own clays. I know its a long shot and not very specific but I cannot find this place an was hoping someone knew where I was talking about.

thanks for the replies, i know it wasn't cherry ridge or thunder mountain. It was not privately owned and it was nothing more than an open field.
on a side note, yes it was a legal legitimate place to shoot lol

I think I've been there. That is a State park, right?

yea, the one in cinton is part of the state parks. i know you can shoot clays tehre, i have twice.. but i think that one person in your group is required to ahve a valid hunting license in order to use the property.. my friend did and heis the one who would always lead the trip.. if it is a state acility, try giving a call or looking it up online.. but yes, its litereally a minute off of rt 78 near exit 13

You can shoot in my backyard for $5.00 per round!
The one in Clinton is exit 13 I believe. It is actually on rt 173 and is State Game Land. You need one person with a valid NJ hunters license and can shoot clays. There is also a shotgun/muzzle loader shooting range up the street from there also.
