Not racing, but I'm talking to my cousin about attending this event: https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1813

HPDE and driving instructor for the kid's first time out on the track, and my second.

I'm looking to bring my zl1 to track days. I was thinking of doing the raceway park road course class and then go to a few open track days. Its really close for me but I'm interested in seeing what else is out there.

Post up when you go. I would love to see your car in person.

Let me know when you guys are going. I'll strap up your cars with the GoPro's and you'll have video to brag about.

first event is usually in April ,the schedule isn't out yet. most of the heavy engineering is done front suspension , rear suspension, pedals , cage work, ect is all done. need to fab up some exhaust, gauges, pumb the dry sump ,fuel system, brakes. Get the shocks re-valved and some more odds and end that I'm forgetting .

I really want to take the bike to some track days at njmp. I was excited after seeing the promo for the yamaha riding school but it's $2,500 for 2 days!

The difference is if you just want to learn how to ride better or if you want an AMA competition license. If your interests are being a safer and better skilled rider to enjoy a few track days then the CA school is the way to go. If you want to wade your way into competitive amateur racing then the Yamaha school is the place to start.
