Is there a new rule that states a foreign man has to be yelling into a cell phone while he pumps your gas? Cause lately that's been the case for me at multiple stations all over NJ...

I don't care if it is or not. People pumping are not trained fuel transfer technicians and I am generally more careful about not getting fuel on the car or ground and I have to pump gas at work anyway so it is a stupid "law"

no reason for me to with the DDs.

3rd gen door opens and hits the quarter if you're not careful and I would prefer not to have a bigger chip there....

I always pull up, get out and give the :bertstare:. I normally remove the nozzle myself and make sure they hang up the fuel cap properly. God help them if they just let that cap dangle....

^ Yes! I hate that too. I normally pump my own or at the very least hook the pump up to my car, so the attendant can swipe his access card.

The spilled diesel cleans the side of the truck. Its a win win.

rust prevention too..

my friend actually puts diesel in a spray bottle and mists the underside of his plow truck before he goes out. also works for a fender liner dressing and tire shine. many many uses for diesel

The dreaded dandle...

I cut the tether years ago to prevent that. Just gotta make sure they don't try and put the cap on the roof!!!!

we use diesel on dump bodies so asphalt doesnt stick to it.
frowned upon by many though..

Thank you! But I am impressed at how many of our esteemed members know how to pump their own gas!
