Anyone have a pic of the factory Hurst shifter for the LS1 T56 cars?
...OR a pic of a plain stock ls1 T56 shifter?

I had one on my old SS and with my current build, I'm trying to match that car as much as possible. Apparently there are aftermarket and factory Hurst versions and they are different. I don't feel like spending 200+ on a new shifter.
I did come across a shifter from an old parts car that I thought was the stock T56 one but now I'm not sure if its possibly a factory Hurst.

Once I figure out the right shifter base, I'm going to get the lou's short stick(which I had and loved) and the leather wrapped Hurst knob.

My RPO codes shows a Hurst stock shifter but I have a chrome handle Hurst with a black ball. It was in there when I bought it though. ........ not sure if that is what you mean

nah, the Hurst base itself is different than a regular one. the handles stock are rubber isolated pieces regardless of shifter base. the Hurst equipped cars came stock with the leather knob with a "H" on it though.

Yes it is.

I had one too. It won't be the basic stamped bottom and it won't have any shift stops.

I've had both the OEM Hurst as pictured above and the Hurst Billet. I honestly like the OEM one better. I disassembled them both and as far as I could tell the parts were interchangeable.
