Supposed a guy I met thru an associated forum had a bunch of official iroc-z race widebody panels in his attic..best looking of the kits as it incorporated the fenders/quarters and not just the flares, however prob not roadworthy. Kit was the one off the int race of champion series. Guy had them since '93 and did a lot of research on iroc series cars.

how they reside today..he had intentions of building a spec car one day.

Thanks V but those werent exactly what i had in mind. and theyre a bit pricey. what is the hate on fender flares??? if i did find a way to get my hands on them i would have definetly got some wheel spacers to even it out. im not what so ever looking to make the car go faster but more or less different as style goes and BONZO thats hilllarious!!!!!!!!

on a car like your fender flares and for road racers needing room for bigXgiant tires. They rarely look good on a street car, and the ones that do are hand fabricated actual steel flares fenders & quarters.

i could understand that. im watching videos on making fiberglass ones. it doesnt seem too complicated. and im not looking to go crazy wide maybe an inch or inch and a half. and not so bubble but sleek or agile maybe even sharper.

chances are if the wheel/tire does not fill out the new space it will not look good. watch your proportions

thanks for mentioning that. i didnt exactly think about how far and low the fenders will be and with the wheel spacers i wasnt sure on if the fenders will come to cloes to the wheel

Honestly, to make wide front fenders like you mentioned would be easy - assuming you could stomach the bill for dies to make them out of steel; probably the reason for fiberglass.
Rear is a different animal as you would have to either put flares over the existing bodywork, or cut up the car and put new ones out of steel. Fiberglass is easy, but with the different materials and expansion rates, you wil get cracks if you bond them in. You could do a Japanese widebody with flares that bolt or rivet - but those look terrible for the most part.
I wouldn't even think about them for less than a 2 inch widebody, which then you could add another 50mm of tire, which could be a 315 up front and a 335 out back with the right wheels.

how big a tire are you looking to use, guy I race with runs 315 on all four corners no real need to flare. unless you want to try and stuff a 345 on it . On my 4th gen I have flares but I run a 25x13 slick on all 4 corners. if you do a quick search I'm sure you can find a pic of my car somewhere here
It doesn't sound like he wants larger wheels/tires. He keeps mentioning flare and wheel spacer.

1-2 inches sounds like a lot of work for minimal gain. Unless you were doing it for functional reasons, I would advise against it and focus your energy on something else.
