I have a 94 Z28 it has the 4l60e trans.I have a hose leaking, its the top at the radiator and it goes into the bottom at the case.I found a hose at rock auto but it starts at the radiator metal. Then it turns into rubber and goes back to the case.Is this the right one?if so can I still use the brass fitting or do I need to get another one?

Yes, the stock trans cooler lines are a hard line to rubber back to hardline from the radiator to the transmission. Post pics of yours so we can verify its the stock setup.

Has anybody done this.Mad there own transmission cooler lines.Mine is leaking right at the fitting.the fitting that goes on the brass fitting. So do you think I can cut a small peace out.Put a peace of transmission dooler line hose put a new fillting on it and clamp it all up?

Hose clamps won't hold. You can use braided AN line or pushlok sold by summit and jegs.

Hose clamps held mine but the ends were flared to keep it from popping off.

I think I might try it.Its just the fitting thats bad.Maybe if I use a barbed fitting it might work.I hope anyways.
