LS1 steel oem driveshaft

Looking for a steel driveshaft for a 2000 trans am with 4l60e. It's for a friend of mine who just tore up his aluminium shaft at e-town wed night. Would one out of a LT1 bolt right up?

Yes. I put an aluminum LS1 shaft in an LT1 car after I broke the steel one.
