Compare a 97 LS1 car next year to this. I bet its the same exact depreciation. The world doesnt care what kind of v8 was in the car, its just a v8 to 95% of the market.

lol I'd say that site is being generous. Ive seen decent LS1 cars in that 5k price range all day long.

They say my 98 SS is only worth 5k. It all depends on the person buying it and how much they are willing to pay. Look at what they are going for and that will give you an idea on how much you will get for it
