Last week I purchased a set of Spohn control arms from this site. A friend had purchased a hood through them so I gave it a shot. So far, I have not had any communication from them about the purchase. I've sent 3 emails that have gone unanswered and left 2 voicemails after finding 3 different phone numbers that I've called and still no reply. Jon Massaro is the owner operator. The phone number works but there is no voice mail set up. The other 2 numbers work but they go to a voicemail. I left 2 messages and tried 3 email addresses.
Does anybody know Jon Massaro or have experience with his site
F-Bodyworld.com that can help me out? I just spent $398 for Spohn front lower control arms and I think I may have been scammed.
I absolutely do not want to flame him or his company, I just want to get this worked out or at least get a line of communication going to get the parts or a refund.

First thing you need to do is file a complaint with teh credit card that was used and reverse the transaction. Do this immediately as you are on a time table, some credit card companies won't accept reversals without a fight after 30 days. They may require you to file a police complaint, don't hesitate to do so.
Keep a close eye on things and create a file of the order, emails, and record the times and dates of your calls including if you were able to leave a message or not. The more accurate your records the better your odds of winning if they try to push back on your about anything.
The company has had complaints for years now. From no answers to the person who does answer not wanting to be bothered with customers.
They are a member of the site here(only 2 posts in 2011 I think), never a sponsor though.
Supposedly they moved to FL about a year ago or so.
Like Tim said, contact you Credit card company and cancel the charge asap unless you can get a hold of them and they convince you to keep the order.

I already initiated a stop payment on the transaction but they said it depends on the nature of the transaction but I won't know until next week. I have registrant domain information which will help for a police report but since it's under $400 and it's in another state they said the likely hood of recovery is very slim and it could take a long time. I am, however, discussing the issue with a lawyer I know who maybe able to help.

Who said that state lines make a difference? Did they explain why it would make a difference?
I ask because i have never had a problem getting a stop issued.
BTW, this is one more reason I reconmend AmEx to everyone. Their buyer protection is 100% on your side.

Contact Jon on facebook. I bought parts from him before. He may respond that way.

Well he is not responding to either of the 2 email addresses I've tried.
I've found 2 phone numbers and left messages at both. When I tried to call them back the following day, my calls were rejected saying "User Busy" when I've tried to call again yesterday and today I get an automated message saying that the user is not accepting any calls.

No, that was for the police, not the CC.

I found domain registration information about F-Bodyworld.com that lists him as the registrant. It also listed another phone number and I've tried that several times and it just rings and there is no voicemail set up. Yesterday, that number called me back and asked who I was because I called him several times. I asked for Jon and he said I had the wrong number. When I google earthed the address listed on the registration it took me out to what looked like a private residence in a rural development.

IMO if the CC company will not help you on this let them know you are going to cancel the card and then do it. That is awful customer service when there are plenty of cards that don't dick you around.

Google filing police complaints for interstate purchases. There has to be a way to do it
There is. FBI. Would fall under the fraud division

Imo 90% of credit card companies will refund internet purchases if you claim you never recieved the item and the seller does not respond to their inquiry within 48 hours. And Amex will refund you immediately for purchases under $1000.00!

*UPDATE* So I finally heard back from my CC and I will receive a credit within 10 days. They will even take care of investigating the website and follow up with any legal action if it deemed appropriate depending on what they find. I will put up a separate post to warn others of Him and his website.
Thanks for all the advice.

Thats good news. Congrats.
Once you get the credit reach out to CTW, JSPerformance, or RPM. All carry suspension parts for our cars and have competitive prices.

I messaged him on facebook last week and just got a response from him:
Me: Jon:
I bought a k-member from you a while back. I have a buddy saying he bought some parts from you on the fbodyworld website and is having trouble reaching you. His name is Brian ****** and the order was for a Spohn #741. Is there an email or number I can give him so he can contact you?
Thanks man,
Jacob
Him: Its a complicated situation and I definitely am at fault for the problem
I haven't written an official statement, press release but my friend is helping me do so. What happened was basically due to 2 issues. One Is trying to keep up with the orders some fall through the cracks and second is an issue I had with my credit card processing company. They were holding my drop shipping income for 45 days so on hoods I front the money until its delivered so on a week I get 20 hood orders im at a few thousand out of pocket.
I am in no way trying to scam anyone even though it may seem that way 609-380-5577
