The arrow points to a corner I would want to knock down with a grinder to get more room between the pipes.
Anyone see a huge issue with this?

How much do you need to cut/grind?

I would like to get like a 1/8 of a inch clearance and then hope with a hard mounted downpipe, it doesn't bang.
Can you weld on the inside of the control arm pocket to add some material on that side where you'd be removing material from the outside?

If you can take some plate and box it back in when you are done I don't see how it would be any problem.

Or, idiot me had a semi good idea... just smash the pipe a lil to clear it.

Along that line, is there room for a short piece of ovalized tubing? How big a dent would you need to clear, are we talking just a dimple or do you have to make smash?

Small dimple.
Pipe is dumped soon after that area so not terribly worried about affecting CSA.

Oh, I thought that was out of the question. Dimple away.
Or a combo of the two. Instead of a 1/8 dent or 1/8 grinding. 1/16 off each maybe?

I will experiment, and see if a small local dimple will save me from having to grind.
1/8" shim under driver side motor mount?

An add to my 4x4 look? No thanks
Pulled exhaust and gave it some loving with a small sledge. Plenty of clearance now between K and exhaust. Simple success.
