clutch recommendations

the ws6 needs a throw out bearing so in the near future i am going to pull the trans. while thats out im going to put in a new clutch, im not sure whats in there now, but i would feel more comfortable knowing whats in there.

right now my ws6 is bone stock besides an exhaust and tune, but in the future i am looking to do a cam and heads and would be hoping to be in the 375-400 horsepower range, so the new clutch would have to be able to accommodate that.

does anyone have any recommendations or any input what to check out or steer away from? thanks in advance.

I would go with the LS7 then as V mentioned. Stock would hold the power but the LS7 will take it much better long term.

The ls7 with the tick adjustable MC has been great so far for street use, by noeans easy on it either. But will be upgraded shortly for something a little more aggressive

LS7 all the way, stock like driveability, durability, and longevity. It won't glaze on you if you need to slip it in traffic, etc.

Could also get it with the slightly lighter flywheel to give the car a bit more pep, just will require a tad bit more throttle on take off.

I had one in my car that i got used, beat on it for 10k+ miles, and just pulled it out to put the Mantic Twin Disk in, the ls7 is still in great shape is most likely going in a friend's car.

thanks for the input everyone. after doing some research and everyone's oppinions here im going to go for the ls7 clutch set up. I've never pulled a Trans or swapped clutches before but it seems very straight forward. while I'm down there im going to replace the rear main seal. any tips or advice for the job would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Buy the entire cover with the perimeter gasket, bolts, rear main installed at your local GM. Wholesale price I got mine for 60 ish$, the rear main was 28$ by itself. No second guessing if it went in ok
