Looking for affordable security cameras, anyone have recommendations? Would like hd resolution, dvr, and remote viewing a plus. Don't need the best of the best, just a clear picture daytime and useable picture at night 8-)

How many cameras do you need? Assume you will be hard wiring?

I know most of the basic kits have packages of 4-16 so within that range. Maybe 8-10 if you want a specific? Currently the one system is 16 at one property with 480 resolution and 0 at the other. They are hardwired but I can probably make due with 100-150' runs for most of them and hardwire the further cams. A PTZ could be fun too if reasonably priced :)

Amcrest products seem to get good reviews. Pricing isn't too bad. Shame you should get a smartphone to take advantage of the features.

They have tons of other kits.
