1st 8sec pass

I have been trying for the past 2 years to hit an 8 sec pass. i ended last years at race wars rental with a 9.05@149. well i finally did it this year. this was only my 4th time out this year. 8.96 @ 151 mph. pretty weak 60ft(1.37). over all im really happy. since then ive pulled the motor to get it freshened up/upgrades. next year we will be hitting the 8.50 index races.

yeah this car has been well in to the really low 1.3Xs. I think its even been in the high 1.2Xs. not entirely sure what happened but it yielded an 8 sec pass. It was turning almost 8000 rpm on a big bore, big stroke 434 sbc and a 200 hit of nitrous. i was crossing the finish line with my fingers crossed.
