A VERY good friend of mine (that I have known for over 30 years) is losing his Body Shop in Edison, N.J. His name is John Bostick and ONLY does HIGH END REPAIRS or Restorations. He is losing his Body Shop because WaWa wants him out so they can build a Super Store:rofl:. They are shooting holes in the current Lease he has and it is only a matter of time before they can get to him.
If anybody knows of a piece of property that might fit the bill for a 3-4 bay garage, PLEASE let me know or call John at 732-549-5070 and tell him I asked you to call if you might be able to help. By the way, the work that this man can do, will far EXCEED any PERFECT work you may need. Yes, he's that good! Ed

I don't know of any shops/properties that fit that description... but just out of curiosity.. why wouldn't you have used his talent to fix the 91 Firebird ? I Know you have the "sentimental 100% original aspect" attachment to that car, but if he is that good... maybe buying it back, fixing it and selling it off would leave that car with a better fate than finding its way over to a scrap-yard if nobody buys it ??

The car was going to have a SALVAGE TITLE (selling it off is just not that easy), and at least almost $17,000 in repairs, NOT including getting the car on a lift and finding what could be hidden there. Getting parts (because of the rarity of the 2 year design), parts would be a problem. When I said he does HIGH END WORK, it was because I have never see any of his work on the Cheap Side (just fix it fast and make it look OK). John often told me, that any job he works on has his reputation to uphold to look 100% original.
