Hello all my new 50th Camaro SS is to be delivered end of next week.

Can anyone refer me to a qualified reputable clear film installer in the NJ PA area.

I've never had one before but this time I figured I'm going to keep this one longer than the last few vehicles.

Thanks in advance.

Leeberbs did a good job on my Hellcat.

Depends on the product, difficulty and what you want protected. Front bumper, mirrors and headlights with Xpel ultimate on the Hellcat was ~$850.

10 year warranty from yellowing and other issues if installed by a certified professional. My G8s front bumper paint was trashed after 8 years of mostly highway travel. A respray may be cheaper but rather my front end stays nice.

totally worth 10 years. If I get a new car I am going to definitely look into it. What about cleaning the car with the stuff on it?

You wash it just like paint. Just don't hit it with a buffer. The Xpel Ultimate is self healing so any minor scratches (not gouges) will fade away in the sun. I didn't believe it until I saw it in person at SEMA.

i bought my old vette and it had this installed for an unknown amount of time and it needed to be replaced, so i removed it and the paint was perfect underneath (car was 10 years old and had 70k miles). i installed a new one myself which was simple on a c5 with no angles. my car was hit and there was no damage to the film or the car.

I got a quote for almost 3 times the Hellcat cost from the suggested place due to the shape and angles involved. So I decided my loans deductible reimbursement and being in the insurance business I could get a respray if needed down the line and pocket the savings in the meantime as curious as I was about the product.

Very happy with the car

Granted, $2000+ is really expensive.

But just curious... what color is it? Metallic?

It's the Nightfall Gray Metallic with the orange accents.
