We can say what we will about Auto Bone, but all I know is it's 9:46 PM and I was able to walk in and get some vacuum fittings for a project I want to work on tomorrow morning. And last year I changed a serpentine belt on my Cavalier in their parking lot at 2 am. Since this store is also their warehouse they have a better "in stock" supply then most. It's on RT 18 in East Brunswick.

Def comes in handy. Now I can start on my project in the morning instead of chasing parts first thing.

im in milltown so im 10 mins away that is my go to store when i need it immediately. i normally know the part number already or just walk behind the counter look it up and say i need this. 24hr is def handy. if im doing a project and planning ahead i normally buy higher quality stuff off amazon prime. for example, my 4th gen needed a wheel bearing vato zone has it for 89 plus tax, amazon was 119 for a timkin part and free 2 day. ill go with amazon for that and know i got a decent part.

another thing i just got off amazon
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CIPUU0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
1 gallon of the good chlorinated brake clean for 33 bucks.

put it in one of theses guys, pump er up with 120psi and you are good to go.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005POGY74?psc=1

i estimate im saving half the cost of brake clean this way.

When I was in Colorado and my rental ran out of windshield washer fluid, the gentlemen helping the person next to me asked what size engine was in his Subaru Forrester so that he could tell what wipers he needed

Glad you like the store, UBG.

Next time, ask to use the bathroom so you can see all the parts we have.

Happened already. A nice fella gave me the nickle tour and I was quite impressed. And like I said earlier, I like the fact I have a place to go if I need something after getting out of work at 11 pm.

Same for Audi and Merc. Im sure Porsche as well. That orange stuff is trash and will destroy the system. It doesnt have to be Audi/BMW/Ect brand name, but stick with the blue stuff.

FYI those of you with import cars looking for OE stuff: we carry Pentosin fluids as well as have access to OEM/OES Euro and Japanese parts, usually same day.

Nah I'm good purchasing elsewhere.

Edit - I don't believe AutoZone is a sponsor here so I think the thread should be deleted.

Yeah delete this thread, especially since we have so many other threads waiting in the wings. This board is sinking faster then the Titanic and you want threads deleted. Bravo, amigo.

but forums everywhere are down. everyone moved to facebook.

Agree to disagree. To say the two have nothing to do with one another is wrong IMO.

i myself have found fb to be super helpful recently. Theres F body specific groups that have 25,000 people in them. Yeah theres some scummy people in them that try to rip people off or just troll, but when you as a question or are looking buy something, the larger audience helps a ton.

Some people just arent "Forum guys" I have tons of buddies who are into cars, and few are super active on forums. hell, this and Jeep forums are the really only 2 i use often.

To be completely honest, some times the facebook groups are my go to source for buying/sell and info. But its the people here that i am cool with that keep me coming back. Everyone here is pretty cool.
