30th anniversary stripes

im looking to get some matte black stripes on my trans am and am looking at the 30th anniversary style (see pic).

quick search online returned $300-$600 kits or $40 ebay kits. looking for some middle ground here i dont want low quality but at the same time i dont want to spend an arm and a leg.

also does anybody know anyone who installs vinyl in north / central jersey?

A good body shop could install them, they pinstripe cars so I'm sure they can square these up. I think most quality vinyl is *rated* for 7 year outdoor life. Anyone advertising that would be good stuff, no matter the price they charge. The high pricing is probably due to being licensed.

What color are you planning? I think the bird looks pretty damn mean as is :nod:

A sign shop is another source of installation. I've been using Lines and Letters in Bridgewater for over 20 years.

ok great thanks for the heads up guys. i will keep looking and seeing if there are any good middle ground options.

adam I was at a meet the other day and saw a black corvette with matte black racing stripes...i was looking to do something similar on my ws6 with the 30th anniversary edition style stripes...i think it would look sick. and if it doesnt i would just peel them off lol.

I like matte black on gloss. So much so that I'm actually doing matte black vinyl on my NBM car.

The underground designs can't produce these ?

ok i ordered the matte black 30th anniversary stripes for my black 99 ws6 today from phoenix graphics. stand by for pictures, should get them in 5-10 days.
