I think the world is going to end...I needed to go to the post office today to ship some parts, but I decided to sleep in. I left the house at 11:45 KNOWING damn well I'd be standing in line because of the lunch crowd and/or people who have disposable time. But I got there and there was no one in line. In and out for ubg! Then I decided to go to Quick Chek and get a sammich KNOWING damn well I'd be standing in line because of the lunch crowd and/or people who have disposable time. Well I got there and the crowd was very manageable and the sammich was delicious. Then at 1:30 I got a call that some rims I was getting powder coated in Keyport were done. Now, Friday get always, shore traffic, people who don't work, people who have disposable hours, etc were going to make this tough. I set out KNOWING damn well I was going to be stuck in traffic and would have to wait until the weekend to get my rims mounted. Well, one hour and fifteen minutes later I was back at my neighborhood Mavis waiting to get my rims mounted. And that included stopping for a Slurpee. With the great luck I had today the world must be coming to an end. So, SEE YAS!!!

I have a question for you.

You obviously do not like living in beautiful central NJ (middlesex count?) so why don't you move? Like out of state?

I hate it here as well and I'm working towards moving out of state within the next 10 years.

I have another 9 years until I can retire. Then I'm looking to get waaaaaay far away from here. If my wife didn't pass away in 2012 I might have been able to retire earlier, but it is what it is. If I can transfer to our Pa shop within a few years I might move to Pa to be closer to work, but can't see schlepping in from Pa to North Jersey every day.

Blah blah blah with this central NJ north NJ south NJ argument.

Not my point.

I hate all of NJ. Its all over priced and over crowded.

I came most recently from South Brunswick, which I hated. My MIL lives in East Brunswick, which I hate. My parents live in Flemington and I mostly grew up in Flemington and the housing costs are sky rocketing and its becoming over crowded in a hurry.

Compared to South Brunswick, I love Jackson.

Lol. Fish House is where I start my ride home when it's not underwater. I'm at the big NJ Transit shop on the right as you are heading towards Fish House. Your girl is pretty close in area too. We send out for food in N Arlington alot.

Yeah Fish House is a proper name for that road. I think whenever anyone flushes a toilet in Kearny or Jerz City it makes that road flood. Lol

Funniest thing I've heard in a while. I don't expect him to be around long - he's going to push the wrong people too hard and he will end up a casualty like McGreevy or even worse.

Not sure if you've ever heard of it but there is home delivery to news papers and you can buy your diet dew in bulk at costco/BJs and you could avoid Quick check all together.

Now enough with my crazy antics.

Well, the thing is I only buy the paper Mon-Fri, and I like getting a 44oz fountain Diet Dew for my ride to work. So Quick Chek is an integral part of my universe. Plus I also like their employees and sammiches.

Well, in my 28 3/4 years on the job the only times I have had my paper disappear was because of people who weren't born here. I once had a Jamaican dude chew me out because I ripped my paper up and threw it in the trash. I asked him what the problem was and he said he wanted to read it. So after that I wouldn't rip it up any more. I would just dump oil or transmission fluid on it after throwing it out.
