On the side of the LS oil pan there is that little port that gets bolted on, what would that be called? I want to get one of those billet ones that has NPT threads tapped in the side so I can hook up my Accusump to that location, but I can't "find" one one the Summit website. I am pretty sure Katech sells one, but I don't have a need for anything else they sell at the moment, so I think it would be a little expensive to get it there with the shipping.

Help/names/recomendations?

I think I may actually get my engine in the car before LS1ow gets his car finished  I am shooting for having the engine all/mostly assembled before the end of the weekend

I just found both of those, thanks though. I couldn't, for the life of me, think of what they were called. Now I am thinking of running an oil cooler in addition to the Accusump  not that I really need it... but might as well....

I know, you did a lot of work on your car, and it shows, just busting chops

I guess the stock piece is called an oil bypass?

I am going to probably go "full racecar" (racecar spelled backwards) and either do a thermostatically controlled bypass with a accumulator port, or an oil filter relocate with thermostat and a cooler and T in my accumulator instead of just the accumulator port on the bypass. I haven't decided yet since now i am thinking of putting a cam in it instead of just leaving the engine stock
