License plate question

I figured I'd ask here before sitting on hold with DMV forever and a day.

I got custom plates for the Camaro, they just came in yesterday via mail...do I have to turn in the old NJ plates since they're no longer active/valid?

Yes, you should turn them in. I turned my in when I got my plates.
