I wanted to upgrade from my 65mm throttle body to my 75mm, LS1 throttle body on my intake manifold but realized, I had a bottle neck in the intake. The intake has a goose neck after the throttle body and has a circumference of only 68mm. So I decided to remove both issues and install a 3 1/2'' pipe to free things up. Here are some pics of the stock manifold before surgery.

Intake is installed and car is running. I had some idling issues at first but a little tuning and all is good. I have some more tuning to do now before going wot.

Thanks for the compliments. I can't take credit for the welding though, a good friend of mine, who is a welder by trade, helped me out.
