i was planning to head up there for that. i am tryin to buy a 69 firebird from a local woman and i wanted to get ideas.
i have heard it is an interesting show. been to teh poncho day at atco, nothin can beat teh sound fo an uncorked 455 :)

I'll be there along with my cousin and his '98 Formula. Probably just do the show though, with my intake manifold leak(2 drops a day). Don't wanna push my luck.

looks liek i won't be going. i got a free ticket to teh IRL race at nazerath speedway. it will be the last big race there before they shut the facility down.
too bad NASCAR and International Speedway Corp are owned by the same no vision ********. they have managed to kill another great racing facility by pulling their events.

if anyone gets a chance coudl you do the club a favor and print out a few flyers to hand out whiel you are up there?
it woudl be greatly appreciated. we are in the process of printing some now if anyone is willing to meet halfway to grab some from me.

Nope, my cousin and I were there also. I had the silver '95 and he had the dark blue '98 Formula. I was able to meet some new "blood" and pass along some of the flyers. Mentioned about Fudd's and SLP day but who knows who will show up until the time comes around. Not much of a showing though, mainly alot of 1st gen's with tons of HP. Best run I saw of the day was 9.8 at 130mph for a '70 bird. There was a sunset orange 2002 doing pretty good runs also, but nothing like the 1st gen's. Anyway, hope to see some of you's at Somerville next Friday, Sept. 3rd.

I was there in my blue 84....

The Jet chip i had was making my car misfire at 4500 rpm...i added a carb spacer before i came and it killed my bottom end and MPH.. The air was really humid and i just finished putting my clutch back in on friday night...its been one headache after another.

Oh then my battery went dead in the staging lanes and i missed qualifying..after that i just gave up and went home...

i guess every time at the track cant be fun..

the best i could muster up was a 15.1@91......that was after i put my stock chip back in ....it was a far cry from the previous 2 times i was at that track pulling 14.6@94 all day..

I was there.The only LS1 in the 11's. My car was running like **** cause it was so hot.I've gone there on a cool friday night and blasted 4- 11.5 passes and 5- 11.6 passes.It was too humid.I was running 3-5 tenths slower than what I should have been and 2mph slower than normal

I hav had a 87 formula with a 5speed,a 87GTA350,88GTA350 with digital dash and still have a 89GTA 350 and a 83Trans Am GTA wannabe. My 83 was my first car ever.It has a 383 stroker with a richmondgear 6speed and ford 9inch rear with NOS. But I can only bring 1 of the 3 to the track.I also have a 87 IROC-Z of all of them I love my 2002.It's just bad ass. I have a complete digital dash set up if you know anyone who's lookin to buy one.Not givin it away though.It wont be cheap. I have 2 complete sets.One of them is going in my 89GTA.My 89 has L98 ported alum. vette heads with forged flat tops and a 175 shot of nos with 3.77 gears and a converter.Yes I have a sixness of modding everything I have.I have a banshee 4wheeler that has a stroker kit in it and will beat a lot of cars
