Somebody put this song on at the bar tonight and it made me think of it as a cruising tune. So as a lame poll, what songs/videos make you think of cruising down the road?

I'll start with Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World (only because I remember it for the last 35+ years with him in the MG and it has a pretty good beat). It's not the best car tune but every time I hear it, it makes me think of being in a car. So that's my lame start. There is no wrong answer so please don't attack each other if you don't like their taste. Now I just need to get a car to go cruising around with (I think I'm done with the speed boat phase of my life!)

I bought a new 1988 V-8 Camaro Sport Coupe in late ‘87 (still have it) and recall driving to Sea Isle City in subsequent summers listening to and loving the cassette of Cosmic Thing (1989 release) by the B-52’s...”Roam” is the song off that album that I really enjoyed when driving. Great memories!

Lol I'm old. so I guess a song like Still of the Night (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3suQ9SZo7sQ) can remind me of the young & carefree days with the tops out of the 3rd gen :)

that's it for now. I ONLY play CDs in my red car. I put one in and let it play. I don't have (and don't ever want) a connected iPod or music devices with wires laying around or having to pick up the phone and tap through a song list. I removed the AM/FM radio antennae 13 years ago and never looked back. No Aux port, no USB port. CDs only, most all of them are cruising mixes.

I don't have a radio, a CD player and use my phone for my speedo. Only 7 miles from the track so I like the sounds from the pipes. Not sure if I could hear a CD player anyway
