Best thing everyone can do, is join up with the S.E.M.A. 'S.A.N', which you can do by using the 'Link' from page two of my site to the S.E.M.A. site. Then keep your eyes and ears open to what our wonderful Legislators are up to. Oh, and if you can, even when our dear Reprensentaives aren't up to anything, try to meet with them, or invite them to a 'Cruise Night' or a 'Car Show' for a 'Meet and Greet.'
Thanks for the nice comments about my site. :D

Thanks, and would you believe I had a Floored F_ _k-Us try to race me on Rt 9, and then after that, a Flat-Turn (a.k.a Saturn), tried the same thing coming off of Rt 9 on to Rt 287. What were these idots thinking? Better yet, were they thinking?

I'll send them an E-Mail with the Web Address of this board, but I can't guarantee that they'll join up
Hey, maybe if I promise them that they'll all be instant Movie stars, then they'll join. No, can't do that, I'd be lying to them, and then they'd be mad at me :(

timGood to hear about S.E.MA., but at the risk of coming across as a bit of a heavy here, let me just say that joining the 'S.A.N.' network, is only a small part of the battle, the major part is up to you, or the group that joins, or the joining part is useless. I think I know what I'm talking about here, I've been active as a volunteer 'Legislative Liaison' now for over 13 years.
About that 'Incorporating' thing, does this mean you're forming an actual Club? If so, maybe you might want to hook up with the 'Pontiac-Oakland Club International' (http://www.poci.org). As of now the 'Garden State' chapter is prety much a dead issue, and it'd be nice if someone who can devote the time to it, picked up the ball and ran with it again. Of course if you don't want to do that, I'll still support your efforts.

yes, we are forming a real club.
it will be a largely virtual affair, based on the web, no club house, no "mandatory" meetings.
we decided to incorporate so that we could do legitimate fund raising to attempt to have larger events at some point. also we need teh LLC status and not for profit endorsement to avoid taxation for our hobby. no one is trying to make any money here, but we all know how good the government can be at trying to take it anyway.lol

thanks for your support. as soon as we have our club straight we will talk to the pontiac/oakland club about workign together.

patience, dude. i'm attempting to find a basket case that i can bring back to health with an LS1 under the hood. that's the new plan. (of course, after completing the '87 racecar and getting the '69 painted)

welcome, ben. sweet whip. hope to see you out at the meets.

timUnderstandable on the tax thing, and certainly appreciated on the not having to attend meetings thing. Sounds like you've got a well thought out plan here. Now if I could only figure out how to get the H out of the go nowhere job I'm in, then maybe my plans could move forward too :D
