Hey guys, how's it goin? I just registered for this site out of curiousity thanks to Tim (NJSPEEDER). Just to let you guys know, I've always been a big FBODY fan, and hope to own a classic one sometime. Hopefully a little ass kissing will keep you guys from flaming me to much, but I drive an '04 SRT-4. Tim mentioned to me a few weeks back that he'd like to organize a day at the track sometime of an FBODY vs SRT day, or maybe just a meet. Well, I posted the idea up on srtforums.com, and I have a few guys that might be interested. We're kinda towards the end of the racing season so maybe we could get it together next spring or something....Well, just an idea for you guys to chew on...Take it easy fellas...

Haha....ass kickin...I knew ya had to get one in there on me...Yea, tim was instrumental in helping me find a mounting place for my catch can while I was putting the CAI in (even though the bracket he bent broke last month and the catch can was bangin on the tranny). And yes, I will make it to the track soon enough. I wanted to go with you guys to Island last week, but couldnt make it. I definitely need some practice though, as my first run was a horrible 15.2 at Atco last wed night (staged too deep and spun at the start). Supposedly, the best ever time for a stock SRT is 14 flat, so I need some experience...catch ya later...

Ah...thanks for the welcome fellas...yea, the car is pretty nice, I will eventually get stage 2 for it, that'll bring it up around 275hp, and maybe some coilovers. It goes in a straight line pretty well, but unfortunately it doesnt handle as well as it could. And if any of you guys are curious about the SRT world, check out www.srtforums.com.
Here's a few pics of the car...enjoy...

welcome.
since you're a new member, i won't flame you for your car.
besides, tim told me to be nice to new members, and after
about a year i can start flaming them. :)
if i was in the market for a  japanese car :omg: i would
probably sport one of those. but i am not, and for the foreseeable
future (until i die) i won't be. nothing personal, it's just that i am
one of those old fogies that remembers what japan did to us
during WW II.
still, it's not a bad looking car. and with a couple of bolt-ons you
could probably see 13s with it. btw, any chance you can resize
those pics? scrollin while trying to read everyone's replies kinda
sucks. :D

My IROC looks great with the front plate. The yellow looks good against the black lower grill.

Yea, I hear ya on the front plate. I never wanted to put it on, but I also didnt feel like getting hassled by the cops. Oh yea, it's not a jap car by the way, dodge makes it (I'm also hesitant about buying a foreign car). Well, daimler owns chrysler, so its part german...oh well...yea I just noticed the pic sizes, sorry about that...I'll resize em when I get a chance...

not to be the bearer of bad tidings, but even Al's new
Chevy had XX% japanese parts. they beat us up on
the prices - i mean, they are able to build them a lot
cheaper - so there's no way any car company can
get away with not using them and still be competetive
in today's car market. i understand what's going on,
but that doesn't mean i have to like it. one of the
reasons you won't see me driving a new car -
unless it's my wife's.
like i said, nothing personal. :)
