View Full Version : How old is everyone and B-days

Just wondering.
We should have a b-day reminder or something to that effect on here and at our monthly meetings when we eat that person or people don't have to worry about their part of the bill.
Well anyways I was born a month late  should have been 5/5/81 but born 6/9/81 which makes me 23
right now i'm 19, my birthday is 10/2/84 so in less than a month i'll be 20. not like it matters anyway.

You're making me feel like an old man.
I'm 31: 6/29/73.
Driving my IROC with the tops in the trunk at 70 MPH on the way to work makes me feel like a teenager again, and gives me something to look forward to at the end of the day. As one co-worker put it: "Forget the bars. When you are married with kids that hour drive home is your "happy hour"."

im not saying we actually eat that person or people. im saying when we go eat when we get together like at a fudd or hooters or anywhere else. the people whos bdays it are during that months dont have to worry about their part of the bill. does that make any more sence. :?:

Mine is 11/18/73, so I'm not 31 yet (sorry Oddball). Your quote is awesome -
As one co-worker put it: "Forget the bars. When you are married with kids that hour drive home is your "happy hour"."
My little boy is only a year old, so I'm still cruising with him a few days a week so my mother-in-law can watch him while my wife and I are working. I have a few years yet before I can enjoy Happy Hour!
I'm 21 and my birthday was on August 24. 8)

11/03/64 = 39 for four more days, anyway...
then it's the BIG 40.
i was 5 when my car was sold as new. JFK had already been assasinated. color TV was just around the corner. the amount of computing power you have on your desk used to take up a room the size of 20' X 20', and they had serious cooling problems - constantly overheating, so they used huge air conditioners to cool the room, and that meant you had to wear a jacket to enter. it was a time of 'free loving' and the most you had to worry about with unprotected sex was a case of the drips. music intertwined in most people's lives. street racing was popular and dragstrips were popping up all over the place.
all a youse dat tinks youse are old (except for Lee - ha ha, old man!) are jes youngins coming up da hill.
me? i've seen the hill and it's a not-so-distant memory. remember, don't trust anyone over 30.
i'm a rock-solid scorpio with a grand cross. the oriental zodiac pegs me as a dragon, with a great passion for life and all of the things one can find in it. pretty much any description you can find about horoscope characters, the scorpion description fits me to a "T". the dragon description comes pretty close, as well. it's a lot of fun having both horoscope figures combined - it makes life very interesting - never a dull moment.

Ain't that the truth. Probably why we spend hours and hours in the garage fixing things, adding hundreds of dollars worth of CDs to the case or changer, and always gravitate towards jobs that are over an hour away. It's an unconscious need to be away, on wheels.
I'm 31 also. Married, three kids, a mortgage payment and a desperate need to get into a trans am. Had 2 firebirds in the past, both before I had kids. *Begins to whine like his 2 year old*

don't worry, you'll live through it. i'm still living the 'american dream', even if i am not working. that creates special difficulty for me in coming up with reasons to get out of the house. most of it is spent in the 'garage'. now, if only the money was here, i could actually do something constructive out there...
