Traffic Jam on 295 This morning

Right at the interchange from 42 North. Took me freakin 25 minutes to get from exit 8 on 42 up to 295. Why??? Funny you should ask.

Right past the interchange is where the accident was. A NJ State Trooper had aparrently lost control, departed the paved surface, and forcefully met head on with a tree. Doh!

Funny part is I wondered if that was the same State Trooper that rear-ended my fiancee a few months back.

he was either driving tired (from all that overtime they got this summer :loser: or driving drunk. either way, he'll claim he was forced off the road by another driver, who subsequently got away... :roll:

195 was backed up earlier. Right hand lane on the turnpike was clogged when I was on my way back from hackensack at 7 am.

That 295, 76, 42 55 area is always hell. Come over the walt whitman on a friday around 5:00 when your job sends you over to the stadiums ..... thats not fun! And then the lovely rolling roadblocks on 295 (construction area) always call for excitement.
