I have been a yankees fan since they were big losers in the 80s. Sooooo many years they had losing records, we're makin up for it now :) It's nice seein Mattingly in the dug out (he's my man lol)...too bad the series ring he'll win as a coach won't help him get into the HoF :(

If he didn't make it look so intentionally he woulda gotten away with it. It's all part of the game really. Noe he shouldn't have slapped at it like that, but if it really was knocked out in his normal running motion, fair game :) I just don't understand why Jeter had to go back to first, when on the play he would have been to 2nd. I'm guessing when it's interference no runners advance? Even if Arod was tagged out, Jeter would be on 2nd. Oh well.

Your missing an important part of the game. YOu must at least hit the ball to be able to run otherwise you wont last to long. Or you can throw 6 or 7 different pitches and have a fastball in the high 90's and hope to get lucky that they pick you up.

I'm a sports fan before I'm a Yankee fan, I just happen to like seeing the Red Sox's fans suffer. I feel that they shouldn't be allowed to win a WS until the year 2019. That way the curse was real and lasted a hundred years 8) .
Oh, and before I'm a Yankee fan it's Mets all the way (in my dreams but it's a nice dream).

Personally, I think baseball is just an act. We care when our teams dont win. They still make millions of dollars, and the championship bonus is just the cherry on top. Doesnt really mean anything to them. Thats why college sports are so much more fun to watch.

You guys missed ARod hitting the pitchers arm in game 6. It was contact and so they called him out. Pretty funny watching him hack like a tool at the pitcher and then MISSING 1st base!!!
