Is their anything I need to know about them?

Like sizes, combo's or extra crap. Sometimes I hear things about people needing spacers for skinnies? Whats the deal?

And any suggestions. (exact measurements & brands w/ tires)

I have 15x3.5 with 165R15 up front with a 5/16" spacer and 15x8 w/5.5" backspacing with 235/50/15 BFG DRs and 5/8" spacer in the rear with lots of brake grinding. I cannot give you advice as to the size rear slick you would need with a V8.

Why did you have to grind the break?

I was going to get those cheap $40 dollar 16" black wheels.

Those 15" wheels did not clear his rear brakes, so he added a spacer and ground down the outside edge of the caliper to make them clear. If you opt for the 16" wheels, you shouldn't have any clearance issues.

are you gonna use the skinnies everyday?....if so, get a 5 inch front wheel, since the 3.5's arent recomended for everyday use and will kill youre braking and handling...and if you get in an accident with a non-approved tire, youre pretty much ufked

No they would just be thrown on at the track. I wouldnt feel confident driving down on the parkway with them on.
