Any ideas why my rear window defroster isn't working, besides the fuse? I checked the fuse.

you check the wires that attach to the rear window?

not working like the light doesn't go on, or not working like the light goes on but it doesn't heat up?

I dont know about 4th gens, but with third gens, when a wire is disconnected to the 3rd brake light mounted on the glass, it triggers the dfroster to come on, as sort of a heads up. Wierded the hell out of me before i figured it out...which unfortunately was after i tore up the car prety good. Maybe that helps, probably it doesnt, but o well

Light goes on the button for the defroster, yet nothing happens. Yes, I checked the plug on the window itself, and the fuse.

I'm stumped.

They make kits that allow you to repair them. You have to tape off the inside of the rear glass and paint over the broken lines with some special kind of paint (I think it's got copper in it or something).

I don't remember where to find them, I just remember seeing them because I had the same problem with my '85 years ago.
