I'll be the first to admit this won't happen, mainly due to the eagles lack of a running game, and their shoddy defense.

They might actually win the NFC this year... but I don't think they'll win the super bowl unfortunately. Their offense is spankin this year, but I don't think their defense is strong enough.

What stops you from being a full time eagles fan? The times they play the giants?

Here at stockton everyone friggan likes the jets or the giants. It's wierd to me cuz where i grew up (and still live) everyone likes the eagles. Though what i did notice was the people that like the jets hate the eagles, while the giants fans are much more docile.

The Eagles couldn't complete a pass against the Steelers so their offense isn't too impressive. The Cowboys secondary consists of players off the street and ex Rutgers players. The Eagles completed several long, underthrown passes that the receivers had to come back and catch. They won't be winning the NFC if they keep that is their only hope. But it will be worth watching to see if they can lose the championship 4 years in a row. I hear Jim Kelly will be at the game! :roll:

The eagles offence is impressive, it's just that the steelers have the best deffence. The cowboys secondary is deffinatly crap, but are all the other 7 teams' secondary they beat crap too? The eagles fell appart against the steelers, on top of that, the steelers are arguably the best team in the NFL right now. I dont see huge problems from the NFC this season, no one team sticks out like the eagles.....Green bay looks to be the toughest team for the eagles in the NFC but at 5 and 4? Its the AFC thats got the interesting competition.

i am a giant fan so i can not really talk bout the cowboys losing to the eagles because the giants lose to the cardinals and the bears. the only good thing is that the Eli Manning era has started.

Way back, we're talking like 10 or 11 years ago when I was 6. I was watching the Thanksgiving game at my house and my Dad asked whick one I liked better, being the blue/grey (Cowboys) or the red? (Bills?). I picked the blue and grey and I liked them ever since. :)

I too was converted back when my age was a single digit. My Uncle's were huge cowboy fans. Then I'm also an OSU fan so having Eddie George (alumni) on the team it was like a double awesome. Too bad they can't put anything together that lasts. I've never been a big NFL fan, always liked the college ball, same with basketball. Something about a team fighting for a team instead of a paycheck that makes good games into great games. I won't say the same isn't done in the NFL, there's been awesome games, but nothing will touch the season the Buckeyes won the championship from Miami. That WHOLE season was killing me. Every game was decided by either an interception, a field goal, 2 point conversion, or on a squid kick. I thought I had a heart attack at the end of a few of those games. No NFL team has been able to do that too me although a few years back when the Patriots won the Superbowl it was a similar feeling.
