NEW YORK - The U.S. military is investigating the videotaped fatal shooting of a wounded and apparently unarmed Iraqi prisoner by a U.S. Marine in a mosque in the former insurgent stronghold of Fallujah, a Marine spokesman said.
The dramatic footage was taken Saturday by pool correspondent Kevin Sites of NBC television, who said three other prisoners wounded a day earlier in the mosque had also apparently been shot the next day by the Marines.

Now, I can understand people being mad about this, but all the facts have to be looked at. The Marines who came to the mosque on the 2nd day were not the same ones who treated the insurgents. They had no way of knowing that these guys were non-hostiles. On top of that, the day before, one of the guys in their unit had been killed by a booby-trapped body. I don't blame them for making sure these insurgents wouldn't be able to fight again. Of course, the media is gonna blow this out of proportion, and it's gonna turn into a witch hunt.
