Just a heads up, kind of short notice. Â*I've put together another dyno day for the PCMforless chip guy to come up. Â*Good opportunity to get your car dyno tuned for a decently cheap price. Â*I'm also running it differently this time.

December 18th, Saturday.

Dyno time will be paid by the hour (not sure if they'll let you split it up into 1/2 hour blocks), and that's $75 an hour. Â*You pay for how long you're on.

The chip guy's tuning fee will be VERY cheap compared to last time.
Really good opportunity. Â*

Mods, I didn't put any more specific info in because I wasn't sure if you'd allow it. Â*If it's OK please let me know and I'll put all the exact details.

Let me know if anyone is interested. Â*If the details can't go up in the thread, please PM me for info.

Ok, I'll post all the info up, and if the mods don't want it up, I'll have to take it down.

Xotic Motorsports in Cochoranville PA (www.xoticmotorsports.com).

Pricing is $75 per hour for dyno time, pay for your time only.

Tuner pricing is $200 for new PCMforless customers, $150 for returning customers.

Again, this is for 85-93 TPI, TBI, and LT1 guys.

Yea, I have no problems with that info. I'll leave it as a sticky until the dyno day.

If my car is back together for then I'll try to make it. I know another club I belong to uses these guys for dyno days a few times a year and its always a good time.

Yeah, I've set up two past dyno tuning days there, and while the first wasn't a success the second (July 2nd) was a huge hit. We had 13 cars show up.

Just FYI, the tuner is still up in the air, but we've got 4 people so far who want this to happen, and if we can get one or two more to commit (no money up front) to being there then he'll 99% do it. It was a for sure thing then a couple of guys backed out. Just let me know.

Thanks for the sticky by the way.

Ok, everyone can disregard this. I keep having people jumping in then backing out, and since I can't seem to get the committal from those who initially approached me about it, the tuner most likely won't make the trip. Keep your eyes peeled as there should be one next spring though. This one is OFF.

Maybe I spoke too soon. The tuner only wants a minimum of four people there for it to be worth it. I've got two on the fence (waiting for confirmation) in addition to myself. Anyone here interested in making this happen???

I can't promise I'll have my car running by then but I'll link this to my delaware f-body site cause its not too far from us so maybe someone will want to jump in.

I'm in if this includes '94 LT1 cars.

What time does it start?

IF I get the 85-93 support I need, I could call Bryan and try to get him to come down. Until that point, this is only for 85-93 TPI, TBI, and LT1 folks.

Stay tuned, we'll see what happens.

I haven't had my car tuned since I had the 396 done... I'm interested to see what kind of power I'm putting out and it's running a little rich so I know I have some power left in the motor.

I really hope we get the speed density support to make this happen for ya. It should be really easy to get Bryan Herter down here for ya since he's only like an hour from the dyno shop I'm using. His price may differ from the chip guys pricing though, so be forewarned.

This may be the 3rd time i miss this thing, but i garentee, if my car is running properly enough (and i cant garentee that), i will deffinatly be in. Your right, hopefully some SD support comes up so I'll be able to show for Brian.

Nah, it was always a 97......but i always had to wait till all the SD people joined in and right after there were enough i would say i was in pending the engine worked.....

I'm feeling confident this time though!

Huh.....don't know what I was thinking. Oh well......

Keep tuned, I'm trying to get a couple more SD guys in. Still don't know if this is going to be 100% on.

Got an e-mail from Bryan, he said if there is enough interest from '94-up LT1 cars (at least 2 more cars) then he would make himself available for tuning.

Well, I hate to say it but the way it's looking no one wants to committ on the SD side just due to unknown variables. I'm going to give it until mid next week at the absolute latest before making a go/nogo decision.

eh well its not to big of a deal, spring is not too far away anyway, and at that point i'm sure there will be plenty of intrest. I just wish i could be sure of bein in or out.....cars are a pain

How far are ya from running??

Doesn't look good for the dyno session.

Maybe I'll just go up on my own and make a few baseline pulls and check my a/f ratio.

That would be a good idea. This is DEFINITELY not going to happen, it's going to be pushed back to spring sometime.

realisticly 2-3 weeks. If everything went properly, it would be done in a week and a half from today

If you still need a tuner I can make it. I can do all the pcm4less can do and I'll do it for $100 a car. Let me know soon though so I can order up some of the adaptors. I do real-time tuning and will also be able to tune 94 and 95 Lt1s. I'm a lot cheaper than him but I usually don't have the ability to get together with a dyno tuner... I'm a little guy  .

I'm guessing it's a no go?

Yeah, there's just not enough interest at this point.
