yes, 96 has the 3.8
never knew that...i always thought they started in the 97

option on the 95, base was the 3.4 with 165 hp n the 3.8 had either 200-210hp

so yeah the 3.8 did start in 95, even if it wasnt the standard V6

I had the 3.4L on my 95 Firebird... I never realized then that it was only 160 HP. No wonder why I was always getting my ass spanked on the roads! lol

Yea, so? I had a 2.8 in my first 87 Bird. Its bad when, for the first 60 feet, a guy on a 10 speed bike can keep up with you. :cry: But it was reliable as all hell.

Yea, so is Pats. But the thing her father may be having a problem with is the power. to a father looking for his firstborn daughter's first car, 160 hp is a lot more comforting than 208. Catching on? :wink:
