Once again the Eagles showed that they are not a super bowl team. The ref handed them the game with a lame interference call which was actually interference on the Eagles. It's amazing how bad the NFC is now.

teh refs didn't decide taht game last night jeff. teh redskins 200+ yards in penalties did. they had 4 first downs called back, that is ridiculous. i can't imagine gibbs meeting with his coaches today was very pretty after a performance like that.
the skins completely lack offensive talent. it is amazing how the second best defense in teh NFL may not be in the playoffs, really says a lot about how much they suck on teh other side of the ball.
not like the nfc matters, steelers already beat teh beagles once this year. making it a pair in january will be fine with me :)

really, do we have to remind you they had 1st & 10 from the 25 yard line and eventually missed a near 50 yard fg attempt because of stupidity & penalties?

Wrong! The bogus pass interference call that ended up giving the Eagles a touchdown was a 50 yard penalty so your argument agrees with my statement! Take those 7 points away from the Eagles and they end up losing.

The redskins played a rediculously sloppy game. They had plenty of chances to score. The points werent made either by horrible decisions or because of penalties.
No one will say that the eagles played at the same caliber as they did against the packers, the second best team in the NFC. The eagles played a crappy game, no doubt about that when a team like the redskins comes so close.

I love the Eagles to death, but the AFC is a much better conference. I mean look at the Pats, Steelers, and the amazing offense of the Colts.
Hate to say it , but the winner of this year's superbowl will be an AFC team. :( Maybe if the eagles kept the secondary they had last year, they might have had a better shot.

YAY EAGLES!
But, I'm not so confident they will have the power to win the Bowl this year... they have a lot of injured players, especially after the Redskins game. It will be an interesting turnout nonetheless.
