sell them on amazon

:werd:

I did that with a lot of my books that the bookstore wouldn't buy back. Just throw them up from a reasonable price each, and you shouldn't have trouble selling them Kells.

then there is always eBay. accept only credit card transactions/PayPal and you shouldn't get burned.

Welcome to college. The sales of books are rediculous, and then they never re-use that edition.

Yeah its almost not even worth the effort bringing them back. You can get more use bang for the buck by using them to start a bonfire! hmmm...an Idea  But I dont think I could get away with that here at Rutgers

That's really sad that they won't give you back any money for $600 worth of books. I'd look at Amazon.com from here on out. OSU isn't nearly as bad, we're promised to get at least 30% back on the books if you keep the original reciept. Our school has like 4 book stores all next to each other and being a state school they aren't allowed to rip us off :) .
For some of my books that I lost the reciept and they upgraded to a new version I sold on Amazon for like 50% of the original cost. I think that book was my physics book, version 6 and like 7 had JUST come out a couple weeks before :( . I can't figure it out, why is there a need for like new books every couple years or so. It's not like the basic physics of the world has changed!!! It's a conspiracy I tell ya.

I think that was a joke because you're laughing. I didn't see it so I can only reply with; The majority of people on my campus are a bunch of young libral idiots that KNOW who the president is because their candidate lost  . Was that joke on Late Night? Sounds like it would be.

Lucky you....I went to a PA state school (Slippery Rock) and they had no problems ripping us off. Bunch of jerks......
