Viper tranny to a ford 5.4L?
Must be an interesting adapter plate......
I'm just not a fan of drop tops though :(

its nice, but i hate the way the shifter looks like its out of a ford ranger or something....look at how tall that ****er is, you'd probably almost punch the radio going into 1st/3rd/5th

I dont like drop top Saleens. They must be hard tops. The thing that really draws me away from those newer style stangs, is the location of the shifter. Its way to far forward.

Isnt the 6spd in the Viper the same T-56 found in Fbodies, as well as GTO, 03/04 Cobra's and Cobra R? Cobra R had the DOHC 5.4 V8.

yup, you would probally just have to change the bell housing... alot of people out viper input or output shafts in there t-56's to when they do a rebuild
