I got a subcription to Popular HotRoddin and Ive been reading up on it. If they do make a new camaro they are most likley gonna name it chevelle or malibu so it can reatle to the new GTO.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the 400hp Mustang you could buy for 33k. Â*

Say what you want about the GTO's style, its still 400hp, its still got a 6spd with IRS, and its still the best bang for your buck out there. Â*
All that, and scoops are a no cost option.


As for the Camaro coming back as something else, unless there is an 11th hour change... Camaro will be on the fenders. Malibu name is already taken and used.
Only reason they would call it "Chevelle" is because of the size of the car. Â*To some, Zeta is TOO big to make a Camaro, yet these are teh same people who own a 4th gen Camaro that is longer then a H2.
To give you an idea on how big the Camaro will be, take the GTO's SIZE (not design), raise the belt line, widen the wheel base, lower it, and added "Camaro-esque" body pannels on it. Â*

Some say that there is hope for a smaller car, one the size of a G35 coupe, based of the Holden Torana, which its chassis would be based heavily on the Kappa chassis that will sit under the Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice.
Lots of people think that the car would be TOO small. It would make it almost too Vette like, which it really would be. Kappa looks like the Y body, only scaled down.

It WONT be retro like the Mustang, no matter how hard you pray. Â*They make replica First gens now for that ****. Â*
But it WILL look like a Camaro.
