Im looking to do an exhaust system on my car. I have a 91 gta 305. Im looking for a good cat back that will give me a nice mean sound and some power. What do you think?

SLP LM is only for 4th gens out of the box. There is moddifications you have to do to make it work for a third gen.

I vote Hooker or Banks.

I really liked the sound of Flowmasters cat-backs, but I just hear so many things againts them. But they do give that rumbly sound.

Ted on the boards has a Magnaflow 3" cat-back on his Iroc, with headers & a High-flow cat. If he didnt have the exhaust leaks at the collectors it is a very beastly sounding exhaust. Plus the large 4" tips look really really good.

actually if you mod SLP LM it sounds really mean on a 305. not as loud as a LT1 but has a really nice tone to it

Enough to make you want to go Banks. Banks is all stainless, and very cheap. I used to have the phone number to call, as the next third gen I get will be getting my old hooker, while I put the Banks on my Z.

magnaflow...and go to the exhast guys...they hooked my friend up nice with a cat back system for hi 92 RS 305

i have Hooker on my 86 and i dont like it all that much.... its not loud enough. as soon as i get enough money together im gonna have SLP LM put on in 8)
