i dont think it would be hard at all...since a lot of 94's came out of the factory with 8's in them, it may just fit :P....not sure if the 6'er auto is the same as the 8 but, if it isnt, it probably wont last long 8)

you would need:

motor
transmision
driveshaft
rear with disk brakes (3.4's came with rear drums.)
front suspension
computer
wiring harness
gauge cluster
exhaust
radiator, hoses, and all other engine bay accesories.

considering you can get lt1z28's for around $5000-6000 i would say its very much not woth it unless you can also get a complete doner car for under 1000

just not worth it...i can tell you that the reserve is set at about 2000 probably, and to do a v8 swap? youd still need a FI v8(unless you wanna deal with cutting the cowl for a carb or paying more for parts to fit under it) and the rest of the v8 setup, you can find 93+ z28's for 3k needing just minor body work. I myself would consider a 4th gen v6-v8 swap BUT i have many of the parts needed plus i have several years experience working on these cars knowing what will fit what, and unless you have unlimited money that does make a big difference, and finally i would never pay more than $500 for a 4th gen v6 project car, and yes they can be found with a little effort. i just located a 98 v6 (at my pyhsical therapy office)that was in a front and rear accident which i want to strip for parts, and i'll probably pay about 500 if i pick it up. My advice, stick with your 3rd gen and learn as much as you can then move up in time, one project at a time.
