Now this is what a real restoration is. Â*Take your time going through the pictures because there's a lot of them. Â*But this is why a real restoration costs $60-100K. Â*This is the shop that is doing my JL8 car. Â*This is a rare L89 conv which is the aluminum head 396 engine. Â*Only 311 made and probably less than 10 were convertibles. Â*Look closely in the background of some of the pictures and you'll see a Hemi Charger, my JL8 car, some Vettes and other Camaros. I won't tell you what he's selling it for....

Looking good. $60-100k could make me one crazy thirdgen  . Are you going to hold onto this car for a while or sell it for profit?

Beautiful car! Will this thing be driven at all? Where did you get it done at?

The convertible isn't mine. It's a car that was restored in 14 months by PRC which used to be in Bridgewater. He just moved the shop to PA though. The owner is looking to get $250,000 for the conv.

Looks great Jeff. Reminds me a lot of the process I'm going through now with my T-bird. It's pictures like these that make me realize I can hack it in the resto business.
