****, since you bought the cut-out you could probably just go to a local minekee to get it welded in. And you do the electronic piece yourself. When I had my cat-back installed, they only charged me for one hour of labor and tax. Came out to $68.00

I had mine done at Mufflex...because of the y-pipe design on my car I had them actually make me a cutout instead of buying one. I think it cost me like $100 for everything.

The shop where i used to work at would probably do it pretty cheap, only thing is that its in north jersey, like up by the GWB, in Teaneck NJ.

I think i'm going to get a cutout very soon, right now i have my catback exhaust off my SS, and the past 2 days ive been driving with only my o/r pipe and i love it, but too loud for everyday, but if someone wants to race, id love to be able to open it up in a second. I'm buying a magnaflow system from the exhaust guys as soon as my town gives me my money, and when i install the catback myself, im going to put in the cutout, all i gotta do is decide where to put it, after ypipe, or after axle.

jegs and summit both sell them for $30ish

If you want electric i think you have to get it from QTP or the McCord powerplate. I think pros and cons were discussed a while ago... :got sear: :)

for one my welds turn out like ass without gas...so id have to pay for gas if i wanted it to come out right...combined with the fact that its about 30 degrees outside with a windchill of 20 make te decision even easier.

but bill, yer...a .....well insulated :D
you can get the weld to seal fine without gas. maybe you shoudl bring it over here one night next week and we can take care of it. shoudl take less than an hour.
