Gran Turismo 4 !

How do you guys like it? I ran out yesterday morning to get my copy...Graffics look pretty much the same to me(maybe a little better), but a ****load more options and cars(old and new)...I cant find my last Gran turismo memory card so I was forced to get my licenses again and start at the bottom of the barrel. First car I bought was a used turbocharged subaru Legacy b4 that now has a little over 400 hp and last night I bought a used 97 LT1 camaro w/ a little over 300 hp... gettin into the game slowely but surely here....man I wish that 1,000,000 cr. code worked for this game :evil:

Cheating off the bat sucks. When you get along in to it, then Ok.
I might buy a PS2 just for this (if Forza Motorsports for Xbox is bad)

I thought it was cool...at least on matt's big screen...but almost too realistic with the nose diving under hard breaking...guess i need some practice at actually going fast :lol: other then that it was aight i guess...i didnt get to check out all the mods or anything though as we were just playing 2 player arcade.

and you can transfer 100K and licenses' from you GT3 game

I did and have a 388hp N/A Evo running 10.8 on the bottle, i haven't tried it natural yet.

i rented it cuz i wanna put money into a reall car more but its fun do to the transfer i got my selff an 00 camaro ss that has bout 533 Hp:) to bad theres no firebirds wish i saw the pontiac badge sooner but its still fun savin fo ra gto now my garage is the 00 ss the 89 concept and shortly a GTO:)

I was completing some boards in the cadillac cien i won last night (after you win a few rally races)... amazing car!! 700+hp and handles like a dream.

graphics in the game are amazing, as usual... i like completing the licenses over again, i especially thought the cone slalom was kinda cool

i tried it out at matt's house last night. cant' say i was very impressed. the graffics were ok for the most part, driving physics engine i woudl say was average. i think project gotham2 is a better game still.
i will try to get more laps in and see if GT4 growsd on me.

Cleaned up my garage a little bit....I now have a 850 plus hp VR4 (thats decimates all :D ) and a "slower" 600 plus hp 05 Mustang GT...Both sitting on dubs 8) When I was modding the GT I couldnt believe they had a na build up plus a supercharger...ony bad thing is you can only use one of then :evil: Think Ill be in the market for either a Lightnin or a GTO next :fluffy:

You get gold in the camaro meet/race. It's in the chevy section when you buy a car. then go to model specific events, then pick the camaro race.

LOL, nope, no yellow. I did some tweaking on my setup and ran an 8.995 :D I just had to beat my friend running 8s in his rx-7.

It's the camaro LM race car 01. It helps that it comes with 601 hp out of the box lol. That car handles like a dream and the braking is badass. 8)

Buy the best soft tires(48,000), slap a 50 shot on it, and buy the stage 4 turbo kit. You might want to adjust some settings after that. 8)

It's better to do the license over anyways. You can only transfer the A and B license. I went back through both even though I already had them and got one new car that you can't buy. I am going to go over the A tests again to see what I get.

When you get your IB license you get the Nike One car, very wierd, but has 8 gears :shock:

just do the Capri rally on easy(it's in the special conditions section)...win both races...you get a toyota rally car after this...sell it for around $260,000...you can repeat this and keep winning the car and selling...:D

my friend and I tried to do that yeasterday and it didn't work, and get this...

we went to trade cars and he "bought" my 578hp EVO for $28K, but when he checked it on his memory card, it only had 327hp...that's not all, when we re-loaded my memory card, I still had a 578hp EVO(that was worth $7K if i sold it withini my game), AND I got no $$$ in my bank from the transaction!

It definatley helped to get me off in the right start! I have to say that my two favorite cars are....1)01 Camaro LM 2) Cadillac Cein, damn that cady pushes like 700ish hp. outta the box! Do some moding, and she'll push over 900hp. The Cein does not stop well though, I just can't control the damn thing! I really want the Ford GT, I love that car! Went to the Vegas Track with my new Suzuki Escudo and put some SS tires and the spray and rolled 7.777 on to a BIGGER turbo and play with the gears and see what this really does 8)

Well, I finally got my Ford "GT" to do 8.62! I just can't get any lower! Also, I'm having a hard time w/ all of the settings! The description they give you never helps me, for instance.....My Dodge Viper is balls fast, but I can't figure the handling! At the track, it's bouncing all over the place! I fooled w/ the "Shock" bound/expand, that helped a little! I dunno???? Any advice???? :banghead:

I'm pretty sure that there are GT4 forums you could look up that will give you some of the settings some of the guys use on the cars they own.they use to have one for the pikes peak car that would make it do a wheelie down the test track and reach some crazy speeds :)

Word of advice,make sure that it runs about 230mph and the tires don't wear out fast,also that it turns on a dime or your gonna get smoked..thanks for the
advice on the car :)
