I am the new "new guy"

I know Maaco has a bad name, but check out the one in Rockaway on 46. Ask for Leon, he is the owner. And ask to see some of his work. He is currently restoring a Vintage mustang, Rolls Royce, Porche, and another old pontiac. He also has a ton of pictures of restorations he did, including first generation camaros, and Feraris. My brother is going to take his 68 Camaro down there in the spring for paint and quarters.
I was heasitant about using him too, but when you see his work, you will change your mind.

He's a weekly racer at Island. I've known him a few years, but most of the racers I dont know what they do for a living unless they have a big name shop or I need them for some reason (ie. Cerralli= engines.. many of you might know him) But he's a cool guy, cant vouch for his shop since i didnt know about it :)

Call Chris at Varzal racing 201-213-0701. Best work and great prices.

I know Dale from Custom Auto and his work is first rate. He gets good money also and he deserves it. My guy(Chris) is a crafstman truck racer who lost his sponsor. He does side work and needs money to campain his ride. He does all my stuff that i cannot do myself. Ie: Rear swap, trans swap, suspension rebuild and he painted and installed my cowl induction hood. Beautiful ! The best part is his hourly rate is about HALF of what others charge and he will do complex fabrication-Roll cage/Roll bar. He is located in Califon, on the western edge of Morris county. You can call him and drop by the shop to look at his work. he is currently restoring a 71 camaro and I think there is a Corvette in the booth getting paint this weekend. this is no redneck/ powered by budweiser operation, in the 15 years prior to racing full time Chris worked for powers motors in Morristown (Mercedes Dealership) and then for a few years at a restoration shop in Peapack that does high end antiques and exotics. do your self a favor and talk to him and get an estimate, You will not be dissapointed-Mike
